Nicholas McGegan’s infectious enthusiasm for the classical repertoire has resulted in some hugely enjoyable CBSO concerts. Here he makes a further contribution to their Mozart celebrations with the mellow Symphony No 29 and also juxtaposes one of Haydn’s typically quirky middle-period symphonies with music by Joseph’s younger brother Michael.
